Recent/Currect Projects

October 2005 - July 2007, Dance Development Officer, Blackpool
A wide-ranging project which aims to raise the profile of contemporary dance in Blackpool, to establish events throughout the year and to increase access, particularly in the education and community sectors.

Spring 2006, Tour Consultant, Ludus Dance
A return visit to Ludus, to maximise opportunities for Ludus Dance throughout the forthcoming tour of "Trapped".

August 2005 - April 2006, Hothouse Festival Co-ordinator, Doncaster.
The HotHouse team is now established and the Festival firmly in place as a part of the regular calendar of events in Doncaster.  This year's Festival takes place from 14 March - 8 April 2006.

Summer 2005, Tour Consultant, Ludus Dance
Working with Gil Graystone, Head of Touring, to maximise opportunities for the Ludus Dance current tour of "Perfecting Eugene".

July 2004 - March 2005, Hothouse Festival Co-ordinator, Doncaster.
Following the success of the D-Frost Festival (see Project Management page), HotHouse included the co-ordination of a larger team (including outsourced marketing), more performances and more venues. 

April 2004 - March 2005, Co-ordinator, Independent Dance Managers' Network
IDMN is a national network of freelance dance managers.  The co-ordinator's role is to act as Company Secretary, first point of contact and facilitator of the network and its website.

April – October 2004, Associate Producer, UK Foundation for Dance, London.
A multi-faceted project that included all aspects of producing and managing a portfolio of UK Foundation for Dance clients (specifically David Hughes and Liz Lea).  She raised funds for research and development of a major summer 2005 project in collaration with UKFD and sampad (Birmingham), and for David Hughes to tour the Highlands and Islands from the Highland Enterprise Board, through Hi-Arts.

Jacqueline is a board member of two Lancaster-based organisations.
She is the Chair of Lancaster Litfest (a literature development and festival organisation with a regional focus).  The organisation is currently involved in the discussions concerning the re-development of The Storey Institute, a listed building that is set to become a Creative Industries hub and the building where Litfest is based.
She is a founder Trustee of the Nat Merriman Trust (a local charity set up to help young people in the district to participate in performing and/or creative arts).
